The sports club 30 7 40, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports, has organized this test, which consists of the smaller version of the triathlon, addressed to all those who want to enter in this sport modality.
Sports Councilor San Pedro del Pinatar, Daniel Pérez, and the vice president of the sports club 30 7 40, Mar Pérez have presented the I Popular Triathlon of San Pedro del Pinatar, to be held on Saturday, September 9, in the environment of the municipal sports center.
Daniel Pérez thanked this initiative of the sports club 30 7 40, as well as the involvement of this group in the promotion of athletics in the locality, through the organization of events and support to those organized by the Department of Sports.
It has also highlighted that this first popular triathlon aims to bring this sport to the world, for which it is made the shortest version, taking advantage of municipal facilities such as summer swimming (swimming) and cross circuit (race to foot), in addition to the rural roads adjacent to the sports center where the cycling event will be held.
Meanwhile, Mar Perez has indicated that there are already more than 150 registered for this test, designed for anyone who wants to enter this sport and included in the official calendar of the Triathlon Federation of the Region of Murcia, scoring for minors .
Thus, the test that will be held on September 9 from 4:00 p.m., consists of a 300 meter swim, 11 km bike and two kilometers of walking.
A distance that varies in the categories of children, adapting to each age group.
The inscription price is € 12 for adults and € 6 for the junior category, from Prebenjamin to Cadet, and the registration deadline is closed today at 20:00 hours on www.trimurcia.org.
