The Department of Education grants one year more aid for the acquisition of school material in the second cycle of early childhood education, training cycles, baccalaureate, mobility aids, academic excellence and the book bank.
The City of San Pedro del Pinatar committed one more year for education, supporting the families of Pinatar in the beginning of the school year 2017-2018 with financial aid worth 35,000 euros for the acquisition of school material in the second cycle of early childhood education , students of training cycles and baccalaureate and mobility aids for middle and higher studies.
It will also reward the excellence of those Pinatar students who stand out for their brilliant academic record and the Municipal Book Bank, managed by FAPA Pinatar, is endowed with resources.
Thus, € 10,000 is allocated to 200 € 50 aid for the acquisition of school material in early childhood education.
Those interested can apply for this benefit from 14 to 22 September in the Department of Education.
Also € 4,950 is allocated to 66 grants of 75 euros for materials of students of training and baccalaureate courses who study their schools in San Pedro del Pinatar.
The mobility of students of training cycles and baccalaureate in specialties that is not taught in the locality and university students is endowed with 10,050 euros that are divided in 67 aids of 150 euros.
Those interested in this aid for material and mobility in training cycles, baccalaureate and university studies, may request them from 16 to 24 October in the Department of Education.
This year the income threshold has been modified and expanded to access aid for the acquisition of material and mobility, with the aim of reaching more Pinatar families.
In addition, 5,000 euros will be dedicated to aid of 250 and 500 euros for excellent students who have completed high school and university, respectively.
The Department of Education will shortly announce the deadline to apply for these grants to excellence.
On the other hand, the Municipal Books Bank is endowed with 5,000 euros, to which are added the surplus of the aid of the previous course and the Popular University.
Thus, this school year more than 830 students of primary and secondary have purchased their books through this system, managed by FAPA Pinatar.
