The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the representatives of the stationery and bookstores of the town have today signed an agreement for aid in the acquisition of school material in children's education for the course 2017-2018.
The City Council of San Pedro del Pinatar and the stationery Gama, Arco, Distenta Publicity Workshop and Lopez, and the Foundation Friends of the Educational Center San Pedro Apóstol, today signed an agreement for educational cooperation through which will be managed the aid of 50 euros for the acquisition of school material for secondary school students.
Thus, the Department of Education will allocate 10,000 euros to these grants, so that a check will be given to the beneficiary that can be exchanged in the collaborating stationers or in the schools for the school material requested by the different educational centers.
The mayoress, Visitation Martinez, explained that this agreement aims to ensure the proper destination of the aid and helps to make purchases at the beginning of the course in the stationery and bookstores of the municipality.
This measure is part of the program of educational aid for the 2017-2018 academic year, which has a total of 35,000 euros for early childhood education, mobility of university students, training courses in the municipality, excellent students and the Bank of municipal books.
