The Councilor for Culture, Silvia Egea, today presented the program of activities for the last quarter of the year that include children's theater, book presentations, exhibitions, workshops, courses and a modernist route, among other novelties.
The cultural program of San Pedro del Pinatar for the last quarter of the year expands its habitual offer with several novelties and reinforces other habitual events like the children's theater, the expositions of regional authors and the presentation of books.
Thus, in the theater section, the program will start next Sunday, October 8 with the children's play "Los Tres Cerditos", Teatro Zero, in the Plaza de la Constitución.
On November 18 and inside the international festival Titeremurcia will be represented "The habichuelas mágicas", in the House of Culture, and on November 25 "The tales of the grandmother", Double K Theater.
The children's audience will also be able to enjoy the "Cuento de Navidad" show on December 27th, and on Thursday 28th of "Magic Christmas", by the television magician Enrique de León.
Both montages will be represented in the municipal tent located in the street Emilio Castelar on the occasion of the holidays.
The theater section is completed with the comedy "Vis a Vis in Hawaii", from Double K Theater, also at the House of Culture, on October 27.
Of the exhibition area, the Department of Culture has two exhibition spaces, the Barón de Benifayó museum, which currently hosts the exhibition "Preciosa de Murcia", and that on October 20 will feature "Memories of a camera", which collects the work of Fernando Palazón.
Also this temporary exhibition room will host on December 15 the sculpture exhibition "The Movement", and on December 21 a collective exhibition of murcian authors with works by important artists such as Pedro Flores, Gaya, Muñoz Barberán, among others.
On the other hand, the Art Space of the House of Culture will host from Friday, October 6 the exhibition "Expressions in Wood", formed by pirograbados of diverse subject of Bernardo Fernandez Nardi, which will continue on November 10 the sample "ImaginArte!", by Gabriel Guillén.
The Department of Culture also continues this course with painting workshops, by José Semitiel;
workshop of chess, taught by the Mar Menor Chess Club;
the reading club coordinated by The Red Tree and the children's reading workshops, as well as the Wednesday forum cinema and the Peques cinema.
Among other activities, the council of culture will also host the presentations of the books "Re-flexiones", by Alejandro Pérez Guillén, on Wednesday, October 18, and "The island and other stories" by Francisco Javier Illán Vivas, on 31 October, both in the Baron de Benifayó museum.
Also noteworthy are new features such as a music festival in urban spaces, which will be presented in the coming days, and the celebration of the I Modernist Route Villa de San Pedro, organized by the Friends of Museums Association, and that on December 17 will cover various emblematic points of the locality like the own Museum Barón de Benifayó or the House of the Clock.
