The Government Board today approved the hiring of six laborers and three custodians, enrolled in the Youth Guarantee program, through the subsidy to this Local Public Employment Program granted by the SEF.
The local Governing Board of San Pedro del Pinatar today approved the hiring, for a period of six months of three custodians and six laborers for the maintenance of sports areas and the promotion of new sports offerings.
This employment program has a grant by the SEF of 60,000 euros for the recruitment of these nine people, who have been selected through the Youth Guarantee program.
The Youth Guarantee is a European initiative involving the Region of Murcia, which aims to facilitate the access of young people from 16 to 30 years to the job market.
This program establishes that young people over 16 and under 30 can receive an offer of employment, education or training after they finish their studies or become unemployed.
EDUCATION
Among other points of the day, the Board has agreed to request the education ministry to subsidize actions to prevent, monitor and control school absenteeism and reduce school dropout for the 2017-2018 academic year.
The Department of Education coordinates the Second Plan for Prevention and Control of School Absenteeism in the municipality, which includes, among other measures, the figure of the mediator, who works with students and families.
TOWN PLANNING
The local Government Board also approved during its session today seven licenses of major work for the reform or construction of more than twenty houses.
SOCIAL HELPS
The Board has agreed to grant financial aid to cover situations of need, for a total amount of 91.5 euros.
