The local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) today installed an information desk in the Plaza de la Constitución, where they have distributed pink bow ties throughout the morning.

The mayor, Visitation Martinez, has accompanied the volunteers of this association, who throughout the morning have reported on this disease, the importance of prevention and periodic reviews, for their detection and early treatment.

Next Thursday, October 19, is celebrated the Day Against Breast Cancer, showing the commitment of the whole society in the fight against this disease, as it is the most frequent tumor among Western women.
