The association of relatives of people with mental illness and generalized disorder of the development of the Mar Menor (Afemar) has today developed in the weekly market an awareness campaign aimed at banishing the false prejudices that prevent the integration of people with some type of mental disorder.
Also, throughout the morning, volunteers and associates of AFEMAR have exhibited the products and crafts they do in the workshops promoted by the association and have distributed small pots of "thoughts."
The Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, visited the users of AFEMAR during this campaign and highlighted the work carried out by this association in the care of people with mental illness in the Mar Menor, as well as the areas of awareness and integration.
