A vital and introspective look at emotions |
The Barón de Benifayó museum in San Pedro del Pinatar hosted last night the presentation of the book "Re-flexiones" by the Cádiz writer Alejando Pérez Guillén.
Alejandro Pérez Guillén holds a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Cadiz and currently works as head of the municipal public library and as a cultural animator at Benalup-Casas Viejas.
At the ceremony, presented by Francisco Javier Illán Vivas, the poet and writer, Alejandro Pérez Guillén, spoke about his work, whose subtitle is "exercises for the heart" and how it was conceived during a rather painful process of his personal life.
A vital and introspective look, a dialogue between letters and emotions, a melancholy song of love, its search and its absence.
Pérez Guillén has published several poems and is also the author of booklets and story books.
Re-inflections: exercises for the heart is his latest work, a book of poetic prose that moves and excites the reader's sensitivity.
