The three and four star hotel establishments of San Pedro del Pinatar recorded an average occupancy of 90.88% during the bridge from El Pilar, from 12 to 15 October, which has reached 100% in some of the hotels.
The Department of Tourism has reported that hotel occupancy during the bridge from El Pilar, from 12 to 14 October, has exceeded 90% in hotels of four and three stars in the municipality, representing more than 75% of the total squares of the town.
The Councilor for Tourism, Silvia Egea, pointed out that some of these establishments reached 100% occupancy during the bridge and has ensured that these data ratify the recovery path of the tourism sector: "during this summer we experienced an increase in occupancy in several points, a trend that is consolidating and extends beyond the summer period ".
On the other hand, it has pointed out that 38.33% of the visits attended by the tourist office during the El Pilar bridge were foreign tourists, while 58.33% were nationals of other provinces, and 3.33% came from the Region.
Silvia Egea has pointed to the excellent climatic conditions, the good condition of the beaches of the locality and the wide sports, cultural and leisure offer, as some of the factors that explain this high occupation.
