The Department of Sports organizes this promotional land-based Raid that combines eight segments of kayaking, cycling, walking, orienteering and paddle surfing.
The councilor of Sports of San Pedro del Pinatar, Daniel Perez, and the sports coordinator of the City Council, José Ramón Moya, today presented the 8Puntocero test, a marine land raid of promotion, to be held for the first time in Lo Pagan.
The councilman explained that this test is a further step in the diversification of the local sports offer, which also joins various disciplines of land and sea.
Thus, the test combines eight segments of Kakay, cycling, running on foot, initiation to orientation and Paddle Surf.
For his part, José Ramón Moya explained that the test will start at 10:00 a.m., with a Kayak Polo segment, from the Center for Nautical Activities, then the participants will have to make a 750 meters foot race from the beach of Villananitos until the walk of the Mota, where they will have to surpass the sections 3 and 4 that combine orientation and cycling, crossing 5,300 meters, between Molinos Quintín and Calcetera, and having to locate during the way orientation beacons.
Subsequently the participants will perform another race on foot of 750 meters to return to the beach of Villananitos, where they will climb again in the kayak to reach the Center for Nautical Activities, where they will complete the test with a final stretch of foot race on the beach de Puntica and a surfboard segment.
Participants may participate individually or in pairs and must register through the e-mail of the council sports@sanpedrodelpinatar.es.
