The Government Board of San Pedro del Pinatar has approved the awarding of the remodeling and energy improvement work in the vicinity of Agustín Escribano, Galicia and other streets.
The Local Government Board of San Pedro del Pinatar has approved the tender for the remodeling and energy improvement of outdoor lighting in thirty streets in the coastal area of ​​Lo Pagán, which will involve the replacement of 88 luminaires by LED technology.
This action is included in the Regional Action Plan for the Dynamization of Works and Services, financed by the Autonomous Community and the City Council, and aims to optimize efficiency and energy savings in lighting, while reducing light pollution.
The work, which has a budget of 165,713 euros, has been awarded to Electromur SA and, once the act of redefinition has been carried out, it will have an execution period of one month.
AID TO EXCELLENCE
In another point of the agenda, the resolution of the Academic Excellence Awards for high school students finalized in the 2015-2016 and university courses has been approved.
Thus, the Department of Education will allocate 5,000 euros to these awards, which will be divided into eight study aids for eight high school students with excellent academic record, for an amount of 250 euros.
In addition, six grants of 500 euros have been approved for university students.
SOCIAL HELPS
The Board has also agreed the granting of financial aid for the attention of situations of need, for a total amount of 1,683.37 euros.
