Last Saturday, the salons of the Porto Chico restaurant at the Club Nautico Villa de San Pedro, hosted the annual end-of-season Gala of the Triathlon Federation of the Region of Murcia.
The Gala, which ended a long day of meetings and assembly, awarded the most outstanding athletes in the different categories and disciplines of this sport.
In addition to the athletes and family members, they did not miss this appointment, the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, the General Director of Sports, Alonso Gómez, or the Sports Councilor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Daniel Pérez, among other authorities from different municipalities in the Region.
As for awards and distinctions, the Federation presented diplomas and trophies to the best of the regional circuit of Triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon in all categories, in addition to the top 20 classified, in male and female categories, of the megaliga, and the first 10 minors who also completed this megaliga in 2017.
Out of the merely sporting awards, others were awarded to Best Organizer, Recognition to Sponsorship and a long list of others.
Among them, the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez and the president of Club 30 7 40, Juan Amador Martínez received the best promotion work.
For its part, Visitación Martínez, presented a gift to the president of the Federation, consisting of the anagram of the Department of Sports of the City Council.
