Local Police and Civil Protection have developed several first aid workshops so that children know how to act in case of emergency and have shown them the different tools and means available to the Police to ensure their safety.
The Municipal Tent has hosted this morning a display of Local Police and Civil Protection in which children from Pinar del Rio have known the means available to the emergency service and the Police of San Pedro del Pinatar.
From Civil Protection a circuit of first aid workshops has been programmed in which the assistants acquired, at the end of the same a title of "child or youth rescuer", with the objective that the children know how to act in case of emergency.
Thus, the first workshop was about PAS behavior (protect, warn, rescue), the second about resuscitation techniques, the third about waiting and transfer positions and the last about choking.
For its part, Local Police has made attendees a tour that showed the different vehicles that have this body, such as motorcycles, a public safety car or a radar vehicle provided by the Provincial Traffic Headquarters.
In addition to the bicycles, the quad and the SUV that make up the Beach Unit.
At the same time they were explained the use and functions of each of them.
It has also shown a sample with the tools that an agent usually uses in their work on public roads, such as transmitters, canes, hands to regulate traffic, bulletproof vests, simulated guns, etc.
The objective of this activity is for the children to know how Civil Protection and Local Police work, in addition to teaching them basic knowledge in first aid and safety, and to show these professionals as services close to the citizen.
