The Community offers 750 places, 200 more than the last call, for a dozen activities in the snow that young people of the Region from 14 to 36 years can enjoy in the ski resorts of Sierra Nevada, in Granada, and of Formigal, in the Aragonese Pyrenees.
The general director of Youth, Francisco Sanchez, presented today in San Javier the calendar of trips to be made until mid-March and stressed the importance of joining forces to offer as many alternative leisure for youth.
"It's a perfect opportunity to practice sports, but also an opportunity to meet young people with whom to share experiences and enjoy group activities and in contact with nature," said Sanchez who was accompanied by the mayors of Youth of San Pedro del Pinatar, San Javier and Los Alcázares, Javier Castejón, Estíbaliz Masegosa and Nicolás Ruiz.
In total there are 15 scheduled trips, four more than last year, which will come from 19 municipalities.
A total of ten trips are scheduled to practice skiing or snowboarding in Sierra Nevada, with a price of 61 euros;
two trips combined with an overnight stay, with one day tour to the Alhambra and another to practice sports activities in the Sierra Nevada, for 119 euros;
two trips with two overnight stays and two days of skiing in Sierra Nevada, for 189 euros;
and a five-day trip to Formigal, in the Aragonese Pyrenees, from 269 euros.
Javier Castejón, stressed that the departure from San Pedro del Pinatar to practice sports in Sierra Nevada will be on March 17 and you can request information at the Center for Leisure and Emerging Arts of the town.
