The 33 candidates, after the institutional reception, enjoyed a day of coexistence in the town of Pinar where they made an offering to the Patron and discovered different corners of San Pedro del Pinatar as the Regional Park of Salinas and Arenales
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, accompanied by the councilman of Celebrations, Javier Castejón, received at the Town Hall the 33 candidates who are presented to the election of the Queen of the Children's Garden 2018.
Next to them, in the Plenary Hall, were the Queen of the Children's Garden 2017, Ana María Gálvez and two ladies, Valentina and Marta, the President of the Federation of Peñas Huertanas of the Region of Murcia, Juan Pablo Hernández, board board and jury in charge of electing the Queen of Huerta 2018.
The 33 candidates to the Corona de Azahar, enjoyed after the institutional reception and the exchange of gifts, a day of meeting and coexistence in San Pedro del Pinatar where they performed different activities such as the offering to San Pedro Apóstol and the Virgen del Carmen, toured by tourist train, places like the Visitor Center, the Regional Park of Las Salinas and Arenales de San Pedro and the Baron de Benifayó Museum.
San Pedro del Pinatar has been invited this year to participate in the Bando de la Huerta parade in the Spring Festival with a float where it will show the essence of this maritime and tourist town of the Mar Menor, as well as the folklore represented by the Peña El Caldero and his group of Choirs and Dances.
