The president of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras, and the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, addressed the municipal projects for 2018.
The chief executive of Murcia received the first mayor of Pinar del Rio to discuss the investments that have been made in the budgets of the Community to be carried out in the municipality in 2018.
Visitación Martínez explained that these investments are aimed at consolidating San Pedro del Pinatar "as a modern municipality, with opportunities and live all year round".
Thus, the autonomic budgets contemplate an endowment to initiate the rehabilitation works of the Floridablanca Spa, a multi-year project, of which López Miras has reiterated the commitment of the Autonomous Community to include it in the budgets of the coming years.
In the health field, Visitación Martínez has pointed out the necessary adaptation and reform of the medical office of Lo Pagán, which currently serves the population of this district and hundreds of displaced people in summer.
The mayor has also influenced the necessary construction of an aquaculture pavilion in the Instituto Manuel Tárraga Escribano, with the aim of consolidating the aquaculture training cycle in this center, since it is a leading and growing sector, generating employment, that only in San Pedro del Pinatar creates more than 200 direct jobs.
Visitación Martínez also added that this year the Autonomous Executive will allocate 531,000 euros to improve the energy of the town, through the renewal of public lighting by more sustainable technology, and asphalted on several roads in the town.
In the tourism field, the president has transferred to the council that the upcoming arrival of the High Speed ​​to the Region and the launch of the International Airport will be a revulsive for the sector and will help to end seasonality in coastal municipalities .
