The Prince of Asturias Pavilion of the municipal sports center of San Pedro del Pinatar hosted on Sunday, January 21, the II Regional Tournament of group aesthetic gymnastics organized by the rhythmic and aesthetic club Pinatar.
Two hundred gymnasts met in the town of Mar Menor, convened by the club from Pinar del Rio, in a day where around 650 people checked the great level of gymnasts from different teams in the region and enjoyed, during the break, the exhibition of two teams from the quarry of the Pinatar Rhythmic and Aesthetic Club, who presented the participants with a lunch at Casa Lucrecia Restaurant.
Before the delivery of medals, the president of the club, Francisco Javier Salas Henarejos, presented a commemorative plaque to the former president of the club, Reme Hernández Cegarra, appointing her as Honorary President and gave all the gymnasts a diploma thanking them for their participation in the tournament.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, the Councilor for Culture, Silvia Egea and the President of the National Federation, Francisca Martínez, presented the medals of the II Regional School Tournament of group aesthetic gymnastics in each category:
