The fish shop Pepe Rivera de Lo Pagán has hosted this morning theatrical performances and information sessions, carried out by the association Columbares in the framework of the project "Fish with Art", which aims to publicize the social, environmental, cultural and gastronomic value of the fishing captured in an artisanal way in the Murcian coast of Almeria and promoting the consumption of sustainable fishing products.
This project will count in San Pedro del Pinatar with other initiatives, such as a gastronomic demonstration in which they will give clues as to how to cook the chanquete in different ways, next Saturday, February 3, in the Restaurant El Parras of the Cultural Casino of San Pedro del Pinatar

The Fish with Art project, which promotes the enhancement of traditional fishing and responsible consumption, has the collaboration of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment, through the Pleamar program of the European Maritime Fund and Fisheries, in collaboration with the Daniel and Nina Carrasso Foundation.
The actions in San Pedro del Pinatar also have the support of the City Council, the Fishermen's Association, Fish Market Pepe Rivera and Restaurante El Parras.
