The Lorca author reflects on the coexistence between different cultures in situations of extreme difficulty while claiming the importance of the castle of Xiquena, and recovering the figure of the warrior Alonso Fajardo "El Bravo".
The Baron de Benifayó Museum hosted on Saturday, January 28, the presentation of the novel "The abyss on the border", Francisco Lorca Francisco Motos, who was accompanied by the Councilor for Culture, Silvia Egea, who highlighted the deep reflection on the coexistence to which this work avoca, a tour of the Castilian-Nazari frontier in the mid-fifteenth century, located between the Kingdom of Murcia and Granada.
In this regard, the author claimed the historical importance of this border, unknown to many, as well as the figure of the protagonist of the novel, the Castilian warrior Alonso Fajardo "El Bravo", who also stood out for his role as a poet.
In this historical context, Motos composes a novel of action, intrigue, love and about the need of the human being to understand himself, in spite of the differences.
During the presentation, the author had the participation of Carla Ferreiro, who introduced the audience in this novel, the director of Onda 3 Radio, Juan Carlos Calderón, creator of a comic about the novel that was also projected on the spot;
María Ángeles Costa who dramatized an excerpt from the book, and the performances of the dancer Remedios Soriano and the musician Andres Giménez, who transported the audience to that border kingdom of the 15th century.
Francisco José Motos is a graduate in Business Management, a graduate in Strategic Management and an MBA in Economics.
