The councilors of Participación Ciudadana, Fuensanta García, and Social Services, Francisca Pelegrín, together with the general director of Women of the Community, Alicia Barquero, accompanied the fifty or so associates who have commemorated today the day of the Candlemas with a Mass and a meal at the Cultural Casino.
The president of the Regional Widow Federation, Charo Sánchez, and the president of the Mar Menor widow's association, Concepción Dacosta, were present at the event.
The women who make up the widow's association of the Mar Menor meet weekly to talk, support each other, as well as share hobbies and leisure moments together.
In addition, this year, San Pedro del Pinatar will host the XXVI General Assembly of the Federation of Widow's Associations of the Region in the month of March.
