The works in this neighborhood of San Pedro del Pinatr have consisted in the asphalting of the streets, the change of street lamps, signaling and the conditioning of the green area.
The City of San Pedro del Pinatar, through the Department of Districts and Districts, has carried out a comprehensive improvement of the neighborhood of Los Veras, which has included the conditioning of the road, placement of sidewalks and new asphalt and signaling traffic and parking.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, together with the Councilor for Works and Services, Ángela Gaona, and the councilor for Urban Planning, Pedro Javier Sánchez, visited the area where this action was carried out, which has had a budget of 20,000 euros.
In addition, the conditioning of the green zone has been carried out, with the pruning of the trees and the improvement of the firm, installing artificial turf and stone, and the change of luminaires of the streetlamps, which have been replaced by LED technology, within the Plan of Works and Services that has involved the renewal of lighting in more than 80 streets, to improve energy efficiency and reduce light pollution.
This action is part of the initiatives of the council of neighborhoods and districts aimed at improving the peripheral areas of the town, prioritizing those that were more deteriorated.
