The Councilor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, and staff from this area have held two working tables this week with representatives of local AMPAS and the directors of all schools in the municipality, in order to address activities and projects for the second quarter of the 2017-2018 academic year.
Among other topics, actions that will be addressed in this quarter were discussed such as competitions related to respect for the environment and projects "De igual a igual", by the association Educo-yá and "Conoce mi discapacidad", by Mikaseda, aimed at students of children and primary.
The coordination of the I Education and Orientation Fair of the locality was also reported, as well as the work of the new mediator-educator in the framework of the Absenteeism Plan.
In these meetings, investments were also made in the centers, such as the placement of shade areas and fans.
In these work tables also participated the heads of the different councils working in schools to establish a point of meeting and coordination between the entire educational community, such as the areas of Culture, Sports, Social Services, Police, Protection Civil and Tourism.
In addition, Juan Manuel Rodríguez was also present as representative of the San Pedro Musical Union and Levante Music.
