This advisory body has held a working breakfast with the mayor, Visitación Martínez, where the projects and initiatives that will be developed in the coming months have been set.
The center for Social Services and Agustina Santiago has hosted today a meeting of children and youth that make up the Council for Children and Adolescents with the mayor, Visitation Martinez, the councilors of Social Services and Citizen Participation, Francisca Pelegrin and Fuensanta García , respectively, in addition to technical personnel and a representative of the AMPA.
During this meeting the members of the council, elected by each of their colleges and institutes, have moved their proposals;
In addition, some mailboxes have been distributed and will be installed in educational centers and libraries to collect suggestions and complaints, and will be administered by the members of the council.
In addition, there has been talk of the first session of this body to be held in March.
The Council is made up of 18 children and adolescents from the municipality between 8 and 17 years old.
The objective of this advisory body is to promote the participation, information and training of children and adolescents in municipal life, facilitate their active collaboration in municipal policies, and propose to the municipal administration the appropriate measures to guarantee the well-being and development of children's rights at the local level.
