The Councilor for Culture, Silvia Egea, today presented the program of activities for the first half of the year that include theater, book presentations, exhibitions, workshops and courses.
The cultural program of San Pedro del Pinatar for the first quarter of the year includes five children's plays, a comedy, ethnographic and pictorial exhibitions, book presentations and various workshops and courses.
Thus, in the theater section, which will be developed entirely in the House of Culture, the program will start this Saturday, February 17, with the children's play "The stories of the grandmother" and continue on March 2 with comedy " A fool in a box ", directed by Carlos Santos and in which he treats the different types of people with humor and irony.
The program will continue on March 27 with "La Casita de chocolate", by Teatro Cero;
On April 14 it will be the turn of Arbole Teatro with "Veo Leo", a show that turns the library into a scenic space;
the puppets of Onira Teatro and Papa Luna with "How do I tell you?"
They will arrive on May 12 and on June 2 the House of Culture will become the forest of Sherwood with the play "Robin Hood".
In the exhibition area, the Department of Culture will host two ethnographic exhibitions of San Pedro del Pinatar, "Heritage and history of the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulcher and Jesus Risen", from February 16 to April 10, and a review of the history of the patron saint festivities from May 25 to June 30;
both samples at the Barón de Benifayó Museum.
This area will be completed with "Solemnidades", a sample of Pepi Cava's painting, from February 23 to March 24 in the Arts Space of La Casa de de Cultura and "Journey to the Silences, Workbook", from Murcian painter "Francisco Cánovas" in the Barón de Benifayó museum from April 20 to May 15.
Other activities that will take place this semester will be an electric guitar master class, on February 24 by Tony Martínez, at the Casa de la Cultura at 5:00 pm, as well as the presentation of several literary works such as "Hablando of birds ", by Gregorio Rabal, the same day at the Barón de Benifayó museum," Mursiya, the talisman of Yemeni ", by Sergio Reyes on March 9 and" 13 houses, many lives ", by Lola Belmonte, on the 13th of April, also in the municipal museum.
The Department of Culture also continues this course with painting workshops, by José Semitiel;
