This tournament will gather from 16 to 18 March 400 players from 18 female under 12 territorial teams in the José Antonio Pérez de Lo Pagán football field.
The Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, the sporting director of the Murcian Football Federation, Jesús Rosagro, and the Pinatar Arena manager, Mariano Sánchez, today presented the National Championship of the Autonomous Women's U-12 Soccer Teams- 8 to be held on March 16, 17 and 18 in the municipality.
This championship, which is being held for the first time in the region, will bring together in the field José Antonio Pérez, from Lo Pagán, 400 players from 18 regional teams in the youth category this weekend.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar has reiterated the City Council's support for grassroots sports, as well as the importance of hosting events of this magnitude, which have a very positive impact on the locality, mainly in sectors such as services and hospitality.
Thus, he thanked the Football Federation, organizer of the event, and Pinatar Arena, who have opted for San Pedro del Pinatar for the development of this important sporting event.
For his part, Jesús Rosagro praised the City Council's provision, through the Department of Sports and the Pinatar Base School in the organization and coordination of this championship.
The manager of Pinatar Arena, Mariano Sanchez, has highlighted in his speech the commitment of this sports complex focused on football to visualize and enhance the female sport.
