The procession of the Promises, departed at 9:00 pm, began the processions of Holy Tuesday in San Pedro del Pinatar, showing the anguish of the Virgin for the death of her son, taken down from the cross.

La Virgen de La Piedad is one of the oldest thrones of the Holy Week in Pinar del Rio, forming part of it since 1955 and was commissioned by the brotherhood of the Holy Sepulcher, of which the pioneer sculptor Rivera Girona was part.
A spectacular image that this year has been restored, thanks to the effort and dedication of the Association of Housewives, since 1983, is responsible for this brotherhood.
This procession has the presence of the Cartagena Grenadiers, belonging to the Marraja Brotherhood and twinned with the Pinataran, AGA cadets, numerous people in fulfillment of their promises and Manolas.
Around 22.00, the procession of the Prendimiento took place, in which the three scenes are represented where Jesus retires to pray to the mount of the Olives, with the throne of the Orchard's Prayer, the moment of the Prendimiento with the Jesus of Medinaceli and finally when he is crucified with the Christ of Forgiveness who belong to the Brotherhood of the Christ of Forgiveness.
