The Holy Week in Pinar del Rio has celebrated the procession of La Soledad today, a small procession that concludes at the residence of the largest Messengers of La Paz.
The beautiful image of Ramón Cuenca Santo of the Virgen de la Soledad, this afternoon took the streets of San Pedro del Pinatar in a simple and emotional procession from Virgen del Carmen Park, in the neighborhood of Los Pescadores, to the Residence of Elderly Messengers peace.
The processional procession has been conformed by the Tercio de San Juan and its drums, followed by the third and throne of the Virgen de la Soledad, also belonging to the Brotherhood of San Juan Evangelista, after which the official retinue paraded.
This procession recalls the dismay of the Mother who has lost her son and since its inception six years ago ends at the Residence for the Elderly, where the flowers of the throne are delivered to the elderly who reside in it, a gesture of generosity with this community.
The Holy Week in Pinar del Rio will end tomorrow, Sunday of Resurrection, starting at 10:00 am, with the Procession of the Meeting, in front of the City Council, where joy will be the protagonist after days of mourning and recollection.
