San Pedro del Pinatar was the protagonist last Thursday, April 5, of the Spring Festival of the Murcian capital, starring the acts of the Burial of the Sardine.
Thus, around 7:30 p.m., the sardine arrived in Murcia along the river, aboard a small boat with members of the Peña El Caldero, dressed as fishermen, also accompanied by the dragonboat of the CBS Flamenco Rosa team. that last Sunday she also participated in the disembarkation of the protagonist of the Burial in San Pedro del Pinatar on Sunday, April 1.
The members of the Flamenco Rosa team, made up of women from Pinar del Rio who have survived breast cancer, made an offering at the sardine monument and later crossed the Segura to deliver at the Glorieta, along with the mayor, Visitación Martínez, the sardine at president of the Sardinera Association and the mayor of Murcia, José Balleta.
Later, San Pedro del Pinatar was also present at the first Sardinero parade, where the local flag and members of the Kebanna ballet paraded, captivating the large audience with their choreography.
In addition, the float with the shield of the municipality closed this procession.
The day ended on the balcony of the Town Hall, where Visitación Martínez, officially delivered the Sardine to the mayor of Murcia, before the president of the group Sardinera, the Big Fish and Doña Sardina, remembering how sad it was to get away from the sea.
