The Esplanade of Lo Pagán, lived yesterday an important day for the lovers of the dogs with the celebration of the Day of the Dog, an activity organized by the Union of Pinatarenses Businessmen with the aim of spreading and promoting the respect to the animals, in collaboration with associations of protection and defense of animals.
The event included a very large canine route that started from the Lo Pagán esplanade to the beach of Villananitos, and the sixth edition of the National Beauty Dog Show was held, in which dogs of different breeds participated.
The podium was composed in third place by the Afghan Greyhound of Noelia Guardiola, Zu¡wan De Kaleman, in second position, the Schnauzer mini S / P by Laura Asensi, Scaramouch De Akra Leuka and first, the copy, Oscaray Amandine Bambina a Yorkshire Terrier by Óscar Calpena y Sarai.

In addition, several training exhibitions were held, coordinated by the Ayocan Dog Trainers association and for those who needed it, a canine clinic was set up, managed by the same group in order to solve dog problems and problems.
The exhibition on the beach of La Puntica, by the Spanish Association of the Spanish Water Dog was one of the most showy of the morning to see the dogs dive in a pool, as well as the exhibition of aquatic rescue with dogs , coordinated by the rescue group Grescan, in which the dogs skillfully rescued people in distress.
The day concluded with the delivery of the Bruno Awards, which in this edition will be awarded to Boston, a dog belonging to the canine guides unit of the National Police of Murcia, which has provided important services in this body and resolved cases of trafficking in drugs and money laundering.
