From the PSOE of San Pedro del Pinatar we want to publicly denounce the situation of the Floridablanca de Lo Pagán, an icon and symbol of San Pedro del Pinatar that will be demolished before the summer.
For seven years, the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, is lying to us, the PSOE and all the people of Pinatare.
Whenever the PSOE of San Pedro del Pinatar has asked about the situation of the Floridablanca resort of Lo Pagán, the answers were evasive, or that time was needed because the project was of great complexity and was in the General Directorate of Coasts, and another was that different files were being processed.
After these 7 years of lies, we want to tell the Pinatarenses that our suspicions have been confirmed, since before the summer the mayor will carry out the demolition and disappearance of one of the biggest icons of San Pedro del Pinatar, image of our people that will disappear due to the ineptitude and mismanagement of the Popular Party's government teams.
Our mayor has no interest in rehabilitating the same as he confirmed to us questions of the PSOE spokesman of San Pedro del Pinatar in the last plenary session.
Its intention is to demolish it, to disappear from San Pedro del Pinatar and within a few months to justify that it can not be carried out such rehabilitation because there are reports against it that make it unfeasible.
All this information has come not only from the mayor herself and her answers, but also from external sources that confirm the demolition of the Floridablanca spa and that said rehabilitation will not be carried out.
Therefore, after seven years of lies, of missing the truth in the biggest icon we have in San Pedro del Pinatar, we ask for the support of the residents of the municipality to paralyze the demolition and disappearance of our beloved Floridablanca.
It is a new attack by the mayor to one of our biggest icons of San Pedro del Pinatar.
As of today, we request from the pinatarenenses that together we can save the Balneario Floridablanca from the demolition that will be carried out before the summer by the mayor.
We ask for a single cry to stop and not be deprived of a symbol of our history, image of the Mar Menor of Pinar del Rio that is about to disappear after the lies poured by the mayor.
In addition, we want to denounce that on Friday, April 13, 2018, a few meters away from where the Floridablanca Spa is located, the indiscriminate felling of many trees that had more than 20 years in the park of the Sea Kings of Spain of Lo Pagán.
From here we want to denounce this disrespectful practice and that shows the lack of environmental sensitivity and respect for our most precious asset that are trees.
In the coming days the PSOE of San Pedro del Pinatar with the support of the people will begin to mobilize with the motto SAVE THE FLORIDABLANCA SPA.
