The Lo Pagán esplanade hosts the Education and Youth Fair throughout the day with play activities, concerts, presentations and workshops, as well as an extensive representation of different teaching entities.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, the general director of Youth of the Autonomous Community, Francisco Sánchez, and the councilors of Youth, Javier Castejón, and Education, Guadalupe García, visited today the first edition of the Youth Fair and Education, which takes place in the Lo Pagán esplanade, until 10 p.m.
The mayor explained that this event has a double side, playful and educational.
A space for young people to learn about the activities and proposals of associations and youth groups, as well as the offer of educational institutions, while enjoying a fun day with dozens of activities.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy competitions by teams, artistic workshops, healthy cooking, sex education, literary presentation, activities for children, musical and dance performances, games of skill, simulators, video games, or participate in the Fotobox photo contest.
Thus, the fair is divided into four areas: the exhibition space with teaching institutions and associations;
performances and team games on the outside of the tent;
a classroom with workshops and lectures, as well as recreational activities in the interior.
From the educational field, the objective is to advise and help young people to decide their educational and professional future, through a wide range of offerings in this field, such as university studies, language studies, professional training, adult education, as well as educational programs the institutes of the locality.
