During the month of April, the Department of Education has deepened in the prevention of school absenteeism through the meeting of the Technical Commission of absenteeism and the conference "Supporting and cooperating in the educational development and professional future of minors"
During the month of April different actions have been developed within the Municipal School Absenteeism Prevention Plan (PAE), such as the meeting of the Absenteeism Technical Committee, composed of the Councilor for Education, Guadalupe García, the technical professors of Services to the Community (PTSC) of primary and local institutes, the Social Services psychologist, the Guardian Police, and the education negotiating staff.
In this meeting, the opening of the protocol in schools and possible referrals to the Regional Table of Absenteeism, as well as the review of open cases and the measures adopted in each of them, were discussed.
In addition to this commission, on April 19 and 20 there were awareness-raising days for parents of students, framed in the specific actions of the Municipal School Absenteeism Plan (PAE), called "Supporting and cooperating in educational development" and the professional future of minors ", taught by Rosaura Torrelles, mediator-educator of the PAE.
