The priest and writer Vicente García Hernández presented yesterday, "And I caught the wind" in the auditorium of the House of Culture of San Pedro del Pinatar, accompanied by the mayor of the municipality, Visitación Martínez and the writer Francisco Javier Illán Vivas.
Vicente García Hernández, who has important awards and prizes in poetry, is a very dear person in San Pedro del Pinatar, as he was parish priest of the municipality for ten years.
"And I caught the wind" represents the first anthology of a poetic work that has had national recognition, and that has been edited by Trirremis as a tribute to the author.
The presentation of the latest collection of García Hernández was made within the framework of the program organized by the Department of Culture for the Day of the Book and in it recited poems by the author, Charo García Baño and Mª José Navarro.
