On the night of Sept. 27, more than a hundred people gathered in San Pedro del Pinatar to attend the official launch of the new political party Democracy Pinatarense.
After a brief screening of old and new images of the town of San Pedro del Pinatar, José Miguel Albaladejo, chairman of the political formation welcomed and thanked the attendees, inviting those interested to join the party.
Then Emilio Callejas, party secretary presented the provisional configuration of the game's governing bodies, working committees which have been operating for over a month, but remain open for accession of new members, as evidenced by Callejas.
Finally, after the presentation of corporate image and logo of the party, José Antonio Albaladejo Lucas, who clearly lead the electoral list, addressed the audience, recalling his political experience than eight years as Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar between 1983 and 1991 and as Senator of the Kingdom, between 1989 and 1992.
Albaladejo Lucas stressed the need for corrective measures to the municipal government is now on the verge of bankruptcy, unable to cope with debts to their suppliers, some of whom have more than three years without charge.
In the same vein, argues that a municipality should be taken as a company, demanding results to those who captains to avoid the excesses and mismanagement that is occurring in most municipalities.
José Antonio Albaladejo defended freedom of independent parties who are not subject to interest and interference of the great national parties, acting in many cases putting political interests above the general interests of the neighbors.
