The municipality will host a permanent cultural market, opposite the spa Floridablanca, another Roman-themed on the esplanade of Lo Pagan, and a fair Times that evoke the first half of the twentieth century in the city center.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, José García, and the councilman of Culture and Tourism, Mark David Grace, today unveiled three new cultural markets to be held this fall in the municipality with the aim of breaking the seasonality of tourism and expand leisure offers in Lo Pagan and Constitution Square.
In this sense, the mayor has emphasized the importance of these activities so that merchants can attract people to the municipality out of the summer, and break the seasonality, particularly in areas such as Lo Pagan.
He highlighted the innovation of these activities, since, besides the sale of handicrafts, the Roman Market and Vintage Fair will include various events such as street theater and musical performances.
For its part, the mayor of Culture and Tourism has indicated that the scheduling of these activities reinforces the success of the cultural market of La Sal
Grace explained that the cultural market Floridablanca, which began yesterday, will continue throughout the year on Sunday morning, with the exception of the third of each month, which is celebrated on the La Sal
In this market, involving a dozen merchants in the area which, from 10:00 to 14:30 hours, offer a wide variety of products including homemade sausages, natural soaps, made with crochet jewelry, wood carvings or paintings, among others.
The mayor of Culture also announced that the Roman Market will be held between 3 and 8 December, to coincide with the bridge of the Constitution, and will serve to enhance the concomimiento of this culture, present in the municipality by the salt and the Roman site of La Raya.
This market, which will be open from 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 22:00, samples include falconry, archery, drama, exhibition of antique weapons and musical performances.
Also, the council has scheduled the first Fair Time of municipality, which will be held before Christmas, between 17 and 20 December in the vicinity of the Constitution Square and the modern cinema.
This fair will be set in the first half of the twentieth century, and among the cultural activities that includes theatrical and musical performances will be on period instruments.
In addition, visitors can take pictures with posters that recreate the early decades of last century and will be "a nod to the town at that stage," Grace has brought forward.
The schedule for this show, which is also marketed various handicrafts and antiques, will be from 11:00 to 14:30 and from 18:00 to 22:00 hours.
