The hotel Thalasia of San Pedro del Pinatar hosts, from today until Sunday, the show "This is Spain", aimed at foreign nationals and in which more than sixty companies from different sectors offer their products and special promotions for Christmas.
The Councillor for Citizen Participation, María José Albaladejo, this morning visited the exhibition, where visitors can buy everything from electronics to food, as well as jewelry, fashion or furniture.
The fair also offers other services through companies engaged in insurance, energy, or security.
Tour operators are also present, with special offers, banks, media working in the area, and charitable organizations that report on the projects that are running.
The mayor of citizen participation has valued these initiatives, which serve to activate trade and promoting integration between groups of different nationalities living in the municipality.
In this sense, the coordinator of the Fair, Christine Roche, explained that the aim is to show the variety of international companies operating in the coast and closer ties with the Spanish community.
The fair is complete with a wide range of entertainment, which include fashion shows, musical performances, lectures and fun activities for children.
