The City Council is committed to energy saving lighting festival, to be displayed in the main streets of downtown and the outskirts of the square at Lo Pagan.
The councilman of Culture and Celebration, Mark David Grace, today announced the agenda for the upcoming holiday season, which highlighted the involvement of municipal associations in organizing activities.
Over a month, San Pedro celebrate Christmas with Children's theaters, concerts, Christmas carols in the churches and squares of the town, the municipal crib, christmas contests and exhibitions of crafts and holiday centers.
You can place several artisan markets in San Pedro and Lo Pagán, and for smaller town, not to miss the traditional parade of the Kings and a visit from Santa Claus.
The mayor of Celebration has indicated that these activities will work a dozen social and cultural associations of the municipality, which makes them a festival of "common people."
Grace thanked the work of these partnerships and stressed that, thanks to his work, San Pedro will have a wide range of activities, despite the economic crisis that forces contain spending.
In this context, it also indicated that the City has opted for energy-saving Christmas lights, which will be reduced to the main streets of town.
Among the novelties of this year, Grace has announced that it will try to streamline areas such as Lo Pagan, being there part of the planning and decorating the square with Christmas arrangements, in the same way that places the urban center of town.
The festivities will commence on December 3, with the lighting of Christmas lights and a concert by the Musical Union of San Pedro del Pinatar, who will perform pieces related to the cinema.
Staff associations and groups are the Rock The Cauldron, Unión Musical San Pedro del Pinatar, coral Patni, cultural collective Duna Kebanna Ballet, Dance Embrujo del Mar Menor, cribs Horadada, Antares cultural association, business association, and association Housewives House.
