A total of 13 women have participated over the first quarter in two workshops and expressive communication skills, and psychology, as part of the school parents, organized by the Department of Education.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Jose Garcia, closed today two of the workshops of the School of Parents that has developed in the Public School in Los Pinos and Social Services Center.
The 13 mothers participated in a workshop and expressive communication skills, which, through games and activities for oral and body language have learned how to deal with everyday problems and everyday stress release through body language.
The workshops are divided into sessions of physical expression, where women have learned to avoid the shame and interact as a group and, moreover, have worked with a psychologist, who have dealt with issues affecting children, such as Eating or sleeping disorders and behavioral problems and low self-esteem.
At the end of the course, women have made a small representation, where they have applied the techniques learned during the workshop body.
The mayor has praised the "tremendous courage" of the female participants and noted that the objective of these activities is to "provide further training, a leisure time" that circumvents the difficult task of "being and acting as a mother."
For his part, Councillor for Education, María José Albaladejo, thanked the interest shown by mothers and encouraged them to continue participating in such initiatives.
The women stressed that the workshops have made them "come home with more optimism" and that, thanks to them, have formed a group they feel comfortable and can talk about their concerns as mothers.
