A tent to stimulate the senses, photo contest, talks and proposals for alternative entertainment, are the pillars of this initiative to the Department of Education and Health to prevent the consumption of alcohol and snuff among young people of the municipality
The Department of Education and Health has launched this week the project "speak" in the drug prevention plan, developed over two weeks in the institutes of the municipality, aimed at young people aged between 12 and 18.
The activity includes commercials and video projections for the prevention, talks to youth educators in the playground, and a photography competition entitled "Tends the monkey," in which students are intended to reflect their views on the drug effects.
As part of this contest, the three best works from each school will be rewarded with two tickets for the movies this Christmas, thus promoting healthy recreational alternatives for young people.
It has also been installed in the courtyard of the tent schools "of the senses", in which two instructors put on a mask to students and invite them to sharpen the senses and discover pleasant feelings.
The objective of this activity is to show young people some experiences with drug use, you can not enjoy or are deteriorating.
This project, funded by the Directorate General of Citizen, Drug Addiction and Consumer Affairs, the Ministry of Health, makes it a priority to interact directly with young people to learn their views on drugs, and from there, to offer alternatives different leisure.
