Alquibla Theatre Company presents tomorrow's comedy "Queens of the Orinoco," directed by Antonio Saura, drama Modern Cinema San Pedro del Pinatar.
The friendly relationship between Mina and Fifi, the protagonists of history, and the search for a bright future on the world scene, is the narrative thread of this bitter comedy.
Music, bolero rhythm, accompanies the vedettes on this trip across the river Orinoco, in a landscape framed by the jungle and the tropical climate.
In this way, aspiring artists rehearse, sing and dance, turning the show into a musical comedy.
The company picks up and this work, thirteen years after the release of the Orinoco, as a tribute to the actress Hope Clark and Lola Martinez, whose career has been linked to the projection of Alquibla more than 25 years.
Qibla Theatre was founded in 1984, with the help of actress Hope Clark and Antonio Saura director, and since its inception, has staged dozens of classic and contemporary playwrights as well as shows Murcia.
The work will begin at 22:00 pm in the Modern Theatre Cinema San Pedro del Pinatar and tickets are offered for sale at a price of six euros.
