The Department of Environment, San Pedro del Pinatar has launched a new collection system for clothing and footwear, through 16 metal containers installed on several streets in the municipality.
This new service joins the separate collection, the City Council, be made with cooking oils, batteries, cans, glass, bulky waste, paper and cardboard.
Containers to deposit the used clothing and shoes are located on Avenida Dr. Artero Guirao, next to Holy Trinity Church, on the side of City Hall, at the entrance of the school's Antolinos, St. Peter the Apostle, Los Pinos and Castelar, and against the Health Center.
Residents of the municipality may also deposit the clothing and footwear in the car park opposite the Casino, Emilio Castelar street, street Extremadura, Canarias cruise street, as well as in various parts of the generalissimo Avenue and the EcoPark municipal with ITV.
The Department of Environment also recalls that the city distributes the EcoPark funnels to adapt to the plastic bottles and facilitate the collection of used cooking oil.
Also, for the collection of household goods such as furniture, mattresses or appliances, residents should contact the Municipal Service Solid Waste Collection by calling 968182114.
As for the trimmings, the City points out that it is forbidden to leave them in public and municipal services only collect those that are deposited in green bins.
In addition, residents of the municipality may transfer any other type of waste to municipal EcoPark located in the industrial area of the pious women, along with the ITV, which is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 18:30.
