The councilman of Culture and Tourism of San Pedro del Pinatar, Mark David Gracia, was presented today at the International Tourism Fair, Fitur 2011, the brand name "Al Son del Mar", under which aims to bring together the cultural program of the municipality.
The flag of IFEMA in Madrid, the Councillor for Culture, Mark David Gracia, has exposed this new brand which includes the major artistic and cultural events in the municipality, as the theater program, festivals Salinas Pop, Folk or Pinatar Festival Flamenco de San Pedro del Pinatar.
The aim of this brand is to create an identifiable image of the culture of San Pedro del Pinatar and strengthen the projection of the full and varied cultural municipal.
It seeks to position San Pedro del Pinatar in the leisure and cultural landscape of the Region of Murcia, through a firm that represents a guarantee of quality arts events performed by the City Council, explained Grace.
The mark "Al son del Mar" meeting in the imagotype, the conch, which evokes the sound of the sea, and remembering the music and movement, and the transmission of stories and cultures across the sea.
In addition to this new brand, Grace has highlighted the nature and heritage tourism as a pillar of San Pedro del Pinatar, and the nature and the willingness of citizens to the cultural and tourism initiatives that take place in the municipality.
In this regard, emphasized the natural park of Las Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar, and archaeological heritage of the municipality, with the Roman site of La Raya and the new museum Benifayó Baron Palace as mean values and differentiate tourism in the municipality.
