A total of 15 people from the Gypsy community of San Pedro del Pinatar have participated in the Pharmacy Assistant course organized by the City Social Services, under the municipal Roma Development Plan.
This course, lasting 60 hours has been conducted between September and December 2010 and has tried pharmacology basics, history of pharmacy, law and other complementary subjects.
The mayor has praised the initiative of Roma in the municipality in training like this, which aim to provide tools to facilitate access to employment.
In this regard, he assured that, at present, training is an essential element for obtaining a job and has assessed the acceptance of such courses.
The event also were delivered diplomas to women who have participated in a workshop on social skills, guided by a psychologist, which have made efforts to improve the integration of Roma in our environment.
These activities have benefited from the cooperation in its implementation and dissemination of the Roma Association of San Pedro del Pinatar Kalochí-Kalo.
