The councilman of Culture and Tourism, Mark David Grace, today presented the Association of Friends of the Saharawi people of San Pedro del Pinatar, with the president of this group, Enriqueta Martinez.
This group looks like this officially, but has worked for nearly a year in the county, where last October organized a market food and beneficial.
In addition, the president of the association has published a book of poems, titled "From my heart," whose funds are invested exclusively in humanitarian projects in the Sahara.
The councilman of Culture has highlighted the work of this partnership, which brings together a dozen people, and ensured that these initiatives contribute to and enrich the social fabric of the municipality.
For its part, the president of the association thanked the support given by the City Council and explained that the group was founded with the intention to help the Saharawi people and to publicize their problems to the municipality.
Among the future projects of the partnership, Martinez has indicated that it will organize lectures and coexistence new foods for fundraising.
