San Pedro del Pinatar hosts for the fourth consecutive year this sports event, starting and finishing the first mill on the beach of La Mota, which this year has been highly successful for entries, so that the organization has had to expand the 250 originally planned to 287 seats.
The Fourth Regional Duathlon San Pedro del Pinatar is a valid test for the regional crown and it Duathlon athletes competing from Murcia and other nearby provinces, after eight years of age.
The competition will consist of two segments of a run and a bike in the middle section, beginning at 15:30 pm with proof of baby and juvenile categories, with the participation of children between 8 and 12 years .
The proof of the smallest consist of a first race of 1,000 meters, 4 km bike and a final stretch of 500 meters on foot.
Then it will be the turn of the child and cadet categories, in which young people attend 13 to 16, who will travel 2,000 meters in the initial run, 8 mile bike and 1,000 meters in the final segment.
The main test, which attend the junior categories, under 23 and veterans, will begin at 16:45 hours and will consist of a race of 5,000 meters, a distance of 20 kilometer bike and a final segment of 2,500 meters.
The awards ceremony of the three categories will be held at 18:30 hours.
The competition is organized by the Department of Sports City of San Pedro del Pinatar, in collaboration with Club Deportivo de San Pedro and Triathlon in the Region of Murcia.
