With this easy way, the two hundred ADAPT members were able to fill twenty large boxes of all kinds of food, including oil, cooked vegetables, fish and meat among others, that were donated just before Christmas to the Association The Samaritan who handled its distribution to many needy families in the municipality.
The Association The Samaritan works selflessly throughout the year in the distribution of food staples, received four times a year the European Food Bank.
Are in contact with approximately 100 families or approximately 400 individuals, found in extreme situations because of the economic crisis.
After the success of the Christmas season, which also joined the Association Asenfifa Pinatar with two large boxes of food, ADAPT members have decided to continue with the same revenue every month, expanding to include diapers and baby clothes.
John Frame, one of the organizers of the collection, commented: "We think it is a good way to give back to the municipality of San Pedro the good reception we've had, and is also a way to help people who are having a bad time in their lives. "
