The Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar subsidize students in Vocational Training Programs (PCPI) of the municipality the rate of entrance exam Training cycles to facilitate their reintegration into the education system
The Department of Education of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar subsidize the payment of the fee for the entrance examination to middle-level vocational training to 38 students in PCPI in the municipality with the aim of promoting the educational development of these young people and encourage to rejoin the educational system.
Currently, the City offers Initial Vocational Training Program for 45 youth in the ways of helping a hair salon, catering operations and vehicle maintenance assistants to groups of 15 students.
The PCPI are two year courses for young people aged 16 to 21 years who have not achieved the objectives of compulsory secondary education and those who are offered a practice-oriented training and employment.
Thus, students who completed these programs can continue their studies through the middle grades of vocational training, so this year the City will assume the cost of the entrance examination for the 38 students who have chosen to present.
Students of PCPI are young people who, for various reasons, abandoned their studies and through these courses begin training a new way.
Municipal initiative to facilitate the access of middle grades students Vocational Training intended that the PCPI are just the beginning of the reintegration of these young people the educational system, a starting point to encourage them to seek the expertise and professionalism, which facilitate their incorporation into the world of work.
Most students in the county PCPI entrance test conducted this past year.
This course will be the first in which they must pay a fee to take the exam, so the Department of Education has decided to take the payment, given the good results obtained in previous courses.
The entrance exam for the average degree of Vocational Training will be June 25 in the Secondary School Gerardo Molina de Torre Pacheco.
