The Civil Guard has researched in recent weeks, which has led to the arrest of three members of a criminal group dedicated to committing fraud to banks.
To date, they impute the commission of three felonies and two attempted accomplished committed in Murcia, Alicante and Cordoba.
The Civil Guard have launched an investigation into knowledge through a complaint from a bank that a group of people could be dedicated to commit fraud with it.
The preliminary investigations have been compiled to obtain all possible information about the crimes investigated, the research focused on a group of three people based in San Pedro del Pinatar and interprovincial mobility.
Modus operandi
This criminal group began its proceedings by filing the paperwork to open accounts in banks in San Pedro del Pinatar and San Javier, contributing to this fictitious personal data.
Having formalized the process of acquisition of the current account through ATMs came to make deposits of cash in a sealed envelope containing much less than that recorded in the operation.
Hours later and through an ATM of the same entity but different the previous office performed the refund of amounts far higher than those actually paid.
This group had interprovincial mobility, having evidence of the realization of cash withdrawals from banks Murcia, Alicante and Cordoba.
Once obtained all necessary evidence and after locating the persons under investigation, proceeded to the dismantling of the gang with the arrest of three members.

This research has led to the arrest of three members of this criminal group, as suspects in several crimes of fraud:
- Romanian, 36, resident of San Pedro del Pinatar.
- Romanian, 28 and living in San Pedro del Pinatar.
- Romanian, 26, resident of San Javier.
One detainee has a history of committing criminal acts before.
The investigation remains open, not ruling out further arrests occurring
Arrested and instructed police inquiries have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 5 San Javier (Murcia).
