The fourth edition of Pinatar Folk festival starts today at 22:30 am in the pub "The Music Corner Tavern, El Mojon, where the councilman of Culture, Mark David Grace, and responsible for the production surefolk, Paco Morales , formally opened the event.
On the first day, the British group Bardoi give a free concert in the predominantly Irish folk music themes.
The festival program is supplemented by the Folk & Flamenco show, by Azarbe and Curro Piñana, acting on Friday, from 22:00 pm in the Cinema Teatro Moderno.
The turn of the Britons Gwendal, headlining the festival, will on Saturday April 16, from 22:00 pm, also at the Modern Film Theatre.
The festival is complemented by the actions of the children's group "The Puppeteers of Binefar" that act on Sunday morning in the Place de la Constitution.
In addition, from Friday until April 30 presents the photographic exhibition "The Gangs", by Manuel Luna Samperio in Modern Film Theatre and activities are supplemented by a craft market in the square of the constitution, which will until Sunday.
