The exhibition "Souls and animeros. Groups for the ritual holiday in the Spanish south, of Manuel Luna Sampeiro shows the tradition of such musical groups and their evolution over the centuries.
Thus, through 18 panels describing the evolution of the bands of spirits, born in the eighteenth century related to fraternities and, over the years, unprovided of religious connotations to become a social movement.
The exhibition details, through photography, the behavior of these musical groups, with deep roots within the region.
Through panels, visitors can learn the repertoire of dances and songs of peasant roots of each region, associations that currently surrounds these formations and typical of the bands instruments, mainly guitars Baroque origin.
This exhibition will remain until April 30, displays a collection of photographic documents, literary and graphic video organized on an explanatory and educational, aiming to spread this southeastern Spanish musical tradition.
